Kapil Sharma is a seasoned psychologist and public health professional based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from ICMS-Samarpan Academy, Tribhuwan University, and has dedicated over a decade to advancing mental health awareness and support.
Kapil’s career began with his role as a Radio Program Producer and Presenter at Radio Malmala, where he engaged with the community through health-focused programming. His journey continued with significant roles in public health initiatives, including the SUAAHARA Program by USAID, where he served as a Training Officer and N-SBCC Officer. These positions allowed him to refine his skills in training, coordination, and program implementation.
As a consultant psychologist at Hamro Patro Health, Kapil provided essential mental health services through an online platform, offering counseling and therapy sessions to clients globally. His teaching positions at Samarpan Academy-TU and Orchid International College enabled him to shape the next generation of mental health professionals, emphasizing practical application and community involvement.
